School Security Systems and Solutions in New York
Educational institutions are concerned about student safety as part of their duties. Paragon Security understands how to provide security systems for schools, colleges, and universities in New York City and the surrounding areas. NYC DOE and NYS providing budgets and guidelines for the security systems requirements at school facilities, Paragon provides free consultation, assessment and design to upgrade or install new security system.
We recommended and installed in many schools, day care and collages custom access control system, lock down control, door status annunciators, and security camera systems to monitor the well being of our students.
Case Study
In this project, Paragon Security was contacted by an elementary school seeking a comprehensive exit control alarm system. The client wanted alarms installed on doors to ensure that students are not exiting the school without an adult and no unauthorized guests are able to come through. Our team designed and installed a custom security solution featuring a multi-zone door status alarm communicator system and a panic alarm system. This design enables the school guard to receive notifications when certain doors are opened from inside the school, as well as triggers an alarm if a door is opened from the outside.

“I've been using Paragon for more than 20 years. Gal was here most recently to repair several door handles that had become loose. He was knowledgeable, fast and efficient.”Martin H. -
Super efficient and very kind
“After having an issue with our door for over a week, he fixed it in under an hour. Thanks so much!”Izzy M. -
Neighborhood gem!
“So convenient and friendly! Needed to get an extra key made today - it was a Mul-T-Lock so a little more complicated. It was incredibly fast and Will at the counter was especially nice and told me about their Tuesday “happy hour” on key cutting - 20% off. Our building uses Paragon for all our building’s keys. They also installed and fixed an electronic keypad for our front door and took the time to do it right. Neighborhood gem!”Kathy P. -
Kind, quick and efficient
