Paragon Security was recently contacted by a Queens apartment that wanted to have child window guards installed on the second floor apartment windows. NYC law states that if a child 10 years of age or younger lives in an apartment building with at least three apartments, child guards are required to prevent children from falling out of the windows. These child guards follow strict regulations and must be installed by licensed professionals like Paragon Security to ensure safety and security. Once our team received the request, we dispatched for an initial survey to gather measurements of each window to be able to fabricate custom-fit child window guards for each of the 5 windows. After a quick turnaround on fabrication, our expert window gates team headed back to Maspeth to install the child window guards with ease. Our installation ensures the tenants can open windows while continuing safety for all children within the apartment.
