Emergency Maglock Lock Out for a Physical Therapy Office

Paragon was recently contacted by SPEAR Physical Therapy to urgently assist with a broken magnetic lock on the front door to their clinic in Astoria, Queens. With the malfunctioning lock and key cards not properly opening the door through the Brivo reader, all staff and clientele were stuck waiting outside and unable to access the clinic. Our team dispatched immediately with a primary focus on getting everyone inside. Once the door was opened, our technician then worked quickly to diagnose the issue and learn how we can ensure this lock out does not happen again. While reviewing the system, we discovered that the DC power supply to the door was stable and functioning, however the Brivo reader itself was not working properly. Our team then coordinated with the SPEAR staff to let them know the issue and set up next steps towards resolution. With our quick lock out access and diagnosis, the Paragon team ensured the clinic was able to fully function for the day and serve the Astoria and greater New York City community with ease.
